Tyler Breisacher (sophomore, Physics/Computer Science)

  • Used Google Maps API to implement mapping elements, calculate travel costs, and CO2 emissions.
  • Hometown: Manhattan Beach, CA
  • When not coding, or solving ridiculous physics problems ("A monkey, of mass m1, and a cat, of mass m2, are jumping on a trampoline, inside a space shuttle, orbiting the Earth at a radius of r1..."), Tyler is also an active member of the Trojan Marching Band and the USC Repertory Dance Company.

Josh Villbrandt (freshman, Astronautical Engineering / Computer Science)

  • Created a database to store and access all the information from City Search.
  • Wrote all the HTML and CSS to make the site look pretty.
  • Hometown: York, PA
  • Has a book called 'Sex God'. You should ask him about it. Also, he is a totally sweet web designer.

Ben Walker (freshman, Computer science - Games)

  • Extracted all the restaurant data from citysearch.com and organized it for searching
  • Hometown: New Orleans, LA
  • Ben Walker enjoys rocking out, working with computers, and writing in third person. He spent far too long writing Regular Expressions for the code contest and recommends that you don't do that.

David Valdez (freshman, Computer Science / Business Administration)

  • Designed icons and images using Gimp, made interface less generic.
  • Hometown: Wellington, New Zealand
  • David Valdez is a rabid fan of the Dallas Mavericks. He works at the USC Embedded Networks Laboratory.
