About GPS Applet
GPS Applet is an GNOME Applet that displays your current position, altitude and UTC time, as provided by GPSd. As the screenshot below shows, the applet also provides links to some websites that provides maps, allowing one to see where he is.

- GPS tracking (trace your steps, when you want, of course);
- Configurable websites;
- Integration with websites (ie: Facebook, or some plugin for Wordpress).
System requirements
- GNOME;
- PyGTK and GNOME Python bindings;
- GPSd and the pythong bindings;
- An GPS that GPSd can understand!
