Q. Why BASH? A. Simple. This program isn't complex enough to warrant a full C or C++ program. BASH fit in perfectly.

Q. Will there be a GUI anytime soon? A. Certainly! If you wanna send me a good book on GUI programming, I'd be happy to learn. But see, I don't really know any GUI programming. Q. Will you develop a Windows or Mac version? A. If there's enough interest, sure! I'm actually thinking of writing a Mac version using CURL instead of Wget... but I'm lazy and I'd need to use my brother's Mac. As for Windows, I'd need to research some commmand-line download managers (if you know any, email me at http://sourceforge.net/sendmessage.php?touser=1858574)

Q. Will you create a .deb or .rpm? A. I don't have any experience in doing those. But if someone wants to volunteer...

Q. GooPackage is a stupid name. A. That's not a question.

Q. OK, why is it called GooPackage? A. Simple. gPackage was taken (a CMS, see http://www.cmsmatrix.org/matrix/cms-matrix?func=viewDetail;listingId=BLwGfO_Ng3NuKHrhd2Ya8w) and Google Package Manager would have too many legal problems.
