What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Created a test page with two fonts 2. Works fine in modern browsers 3. Doesn't work in IE7, IE8
So I can't get it to work in IE, is there some extra javascript or something I need to add for IE?

It seems Microsoft only supports their "Embedded OpenType (EOT) created by Microsoft's WEFT tool "

Posted on Jun 18, 2010 by Helpful BearFurther input on this matter: For me it works fine in IE8 with the font "Nobile" but not with font "Josefine Sans Std Light". Could it be that IE refuses to accept custom fonts with spaces in the name?
Posted on Jun 23, 2010 by Massive LionAdditional input: Spaces do not seem to be the issue. I tried cantarell, with and without variants in IE8 and IE7, without success.

Posted on Jul 4, 2010 by Grumpy ElephantIt's IE wide. The font does not load in IE6 either.
Posted on Jul 13, 2010 by Happy KangarooThe most common reason fonts don't load in IE is because the font name table was coded wrong by the font author. That is definitely the case with Josefin. The Family Name + the Style Name must = The Full Name. Josephine fails this.
FYI - fontsquirrel.com automatically corrects these problems in their webfonts. Here's Josefin: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontfacedemo/Josefin

Posted on Oct 25, 2010 by Happy ElephantI just committed a change to Josefin that fixes the name table inconsistency described in comment 8, and did testing in IE, so can close this issue now.

Posted on Feb 17, 2011 by Happy RhinoHi - I'm experiencing the same problem rendering in IE8 with a different font (Lato) in it's lightest weight.
I'm not sure if the standard weight fonts are okay - but will confirm and add another comment once I know.

Posted on Feb 6, 2012 by Happy RabbitThe answer to all these fonts not working is to go to http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontface/generator and follow the directions there to re-generate the font files.
