Reported by, Nov 10, 2006
GWT Release:

1.2.11 rc1

Detailed description:
It'd sure be nice if the documentation for said what would happen if the cookie
doesn't exist.

Workaround if you have one:
I looked at the source, and apparently it returns null.

Emily, I suppose you're addressing this at the same time as your other cookie

This has already been committed as r979. Joel, will you please sanity-check this very
simple doc clarification? Here's the new doc for Cookies.getCookie():

   * Gets the cookie associated with the given name.
   * @param name the name of the cookie to be retrieved
   * @return the cookie's value, or <code>null</code> if the cookie doesn't exist
  public static String getCookie(String name)

I merely added the ", or ..." clause. I'm 99.999% sure that's true.

Forgot to actually add jgw.

Verified that the documentation was added.

ensureCookies() always creates a new HashMap if it decides to load cookies from the
browser state. The loadCookies() native function doesn't spontaneously create random
entries in the map.
