Yes.  I've downloaded and used this plugin with Juno and seems to work well.  I'm saying "seems" as I've only used GWT components with my projects.

I've installed this plugin on several machines without a problem.  May be the site is down and you have Internet problems.

I installed using my 3G connection and everything worked.
I guesss it's either my router or my ISP.

i am also facing the timeout issue. Any idea if the server is down ?

After a bloodbath with the error message:
"Unable to read repository at http://dl.google.com/eclipse/plugin/4.2/content.xml"
it turns out that the antivirus (for some unknown reason) blocks the reading of xml file. Solution: PAUSE PROTECTION during installation.
Happens with Kaspersky and AVG.

for many years I have been using many other update site for eclipse, I can say that this problem
only happens with gwt plugin site ...

I tried several time ...

I even tried several time after closing eclipse and reopening it ...

I also tried putting this in the eclipse.ini file

-Dorg.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.retrieve.closeTimeout=3000
-Dorg.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.retrieve.readTimeout=3000

nothing work

What can I do ?

I had the same problem the update site works with Kaspersky protection paused. Further GWT project doesn't run on dev mode.

I have windows xp and avast antivirus.
Unable to install plugin from remote or local archive.
It gives the following error:

Tried after disabling anti-virus and firewall as well.
