External references, such as a standards document, or specification? http://javadoc.google-http-java-client.googlecode.com/hg/1.6.0-beta/com/google/api/client/http/json/JsonHttpClient.Builder.html#setApplicationName(java.lang.String) Java environments (e.g. Java 6, Android 2.3, App Engine, or All)? All Please describe the feature requested. We should encourage client applications to specify an application name when using JsonHttpClient -- i.e. to call JsonHttpClient.Builder.setApplicationName -- to make it easier for servers to identify the client application. We don't want to make it required, but it seems worthwhile to at least log a one-time warning on JsonHttpClient.Builder.build().
