Write at least 5 detailed task suggestions around combining existing social networking sites with Python. This can involve

• creating new applications (in Python) to be hosted through the social networking site (e.g. Facebook applications),

• writing meta-applications (in Python) to manipulate and extract information from the sites using existing Python libraries,

• adding specific (and somewhat ambitious) functionality to existing Python libraries,

• creating new Python libraries.

How detailed do you want the ideas? Would about ~100 words per idea be too much, or enough?

You can refer to NewTaskGuidelines over in the wiki for some suggestions. Word count is less important than being specific and providing enough detail about how to consider the task complete.

Yes, that's the idea. You won't be able to claim any of the tasks you submit, and you'll need to give enough detail that someone else can decide if it is complete or not.
