Welcome to Moodle's Project Page for Google's Highly Open Participation Contest
About Moodle
Moodle is working to develop the best tool for online learning that we can. Our software is a Learning Management System written in PHP, designed to help teachers facilitate communities of learners in a variety of interesting ways. Moodle is widely used around the world by universities, schools, companies, and all manner of organizations and individuals who need to conduct education online. Many of our users take part in the community on moodle.org and contribute with ideas, debate, testing, education, documentation, bug fixing, feature writing and everything else that makes an open source project function.
Moodle is proud to be a member of the first GHOP in 2007/2008!

Congratulations to our Grand Prize Winner
Congratulations to Pat B (aka Worrapat Boonyaritipong) for being Moodle's grand prize winner!
We chose Pat because of his outstanding work on some of our most challenging tasks - Selenium scripts, creating a developer guide for upgrading to XMLDB, and developing a patch to improve performance. Although it must have taken Pat a great deal of time to understand the complex code, he completed each task on time and to the highest standard. He also made a valuable contribution to the Thai Moodle community in improving the Thai language pack and by creating a Moodle presentation in Thai.
