Benefits: improved documentation
Requirements: familiarity with cairo, C# and Mono.Cairo API

Although we have complete documentation for Mono.Cairo on
www.go-mono.com/docs, this is a reference documentation.

We would like to have a "ported" version of the Cairo tutorials from C and
Python to be translated into C# and Mono.Cairo API calls that are suitable
for people that are using a .NET language to use.

Deliverables:
 A well-written, spell-checked, MediaWiki HTML document, with examples in C
and PNG images of the examples embedded in the document.

I claim this task.  Does the specification "specify MediaWiki HTML document" 
mean
there is a specific location I should place this tutorial?

You can just upload the marked-up wiki text and images to this issue/task.  We 
will
handle placing it on the Mono wiki.  Thanks!

Still WIP on the wiki markup and text modifications, but at least I've got all

examples converted.

I would have started earlier, but school and such has been busy lately.

Alright, I've completed it.  Once again, the markup, images, and source can be 
found
here:

At the moment it links to the code files on my site, and assumes that the 
cairo_*.png
images are on the wiki.

I realize that people are probably busy and such, but review / closing would be 
nice,
as currently I'm stalled out - can't claim any other tasks.

Also, I've made about 60 monodoc edits to the Cairo documentation, but upload 
isn't
working.

Hey man, our reviewer seems missing in action.  I briefly looked over it and it 
looks
great.  Please zip up your work and attach it to this task in case your site 
goes
down before someone integrates it into our wiki, and I will mark the task 
complete.

That's ok, I've had lots to do other than GHOP tasks.  I'm in germany at the 
moment, 
actually.

I'm pretty sure my site won't go down, it's hosted on a very good, paid host, 
but 
here's a zip anyway.
