About Mono
Mono provides the necessary software to develop and run .NET client and server applications on Linux, Solaris, Mac OS X, Windows, and Unix.
The goal of this project is to:
- Improve the developer experience for Linux and Unix developers
- Allow developers to run applications written with .NET on Unix systems.
- Create new APIs, tools and components that will improve Unix and Linux developer's experiences.
- Help developers innovate on the desktop and on the server.
About the Contest
