Create a fun tri-fold brochure that introduces the reader to Richard
Stallman, Linus Torvalds, Eric Raymond, and Rasmus Lerdorf and their
contributions to Free Software.

Possible information resources:

    * Personal sites of these individuals
    * Wikipedia -
    * Google Search -

Skills Needed

    * Good communication skills.
    * Creativity.
    * Good Public Relations Skills.
    * Good Open Office Writer and communication skills. 



Work Product

Attractive, correctly written white paper. Use Joomla! logo and color


Documentation written for this task must be made available under the
Joomla! Electronic Documentation License.

Open Office Instructions

1. Download Open Office

2. Download "All Templates" from

3. Unzip into your folder. 
--> To determine your path, open Writer. 
    * Select the Tools-Options menu option. 
    * Click the + sign next to to open the sub-list.
    * Click the word Paths. Note the folder name for Templates.

4. If you do not have an unzip utility, you can search Google for free zip tools.
Also, you can use pkware - a free zip utility that uses a fabulous Joomla! website.


To use the Writer Template:

1. Open Writer
2. Select File-New-Templates and Documents menu option.
3. Select Templates in the first column.
4. Select all_templates.
5. Select trifold_brochure and open.
