Task title: Fix an empathy gnome-love bug Benefits: Empathy is the new Instant messaging program proposed for inclusion in incoming GNOME 2.22. Empathy has numerous easy and bugs. By fixing the students will learn more about GNOME hacking and will help improving the application. Requirements: C coding, seaching in GTK/GLib documentation. Task description Consists of: The task is about fixing one Empathy's gnome-love bugs of your choice. The list of those bugs is available there: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/buglist.cgi?query=keyword%3Agnome-love+product%3Aempathy+ That way students will learn more about GTK/GLib and C programing. The student have to: 1) Pick a bug from the list 2) Fetch and build Empathy from SVN 3) Ask questions about how to fix it either by posting on the bug or asking on IRC: #telepathy (irc.freenode.net) 4) Make a patch and attach it on the bug report Extra: Fix other empathy bugs, not only gnome-love onces.
