From mosabua on July 06, 2010 22:29:38 Could somebody see if this could be done soon? We would like to get Roboguice into Maven central and depend on the noaop version to be up there already.. |
From sberlin on October 21, 2010 20:38:33 We're working on getting maven easy for 3.0, but 2.0 likely won't happen unless it already exists. Status: WontFix |
From mosabua on October 21, 2010 21:23:34 Well.. the jar already exists .. can it not just be uploaded with a handcrafted pom file that pretty much is the same as the standard one and just uses a classifier or different version. I have been in contact with Brian Fox from Sonatype regarding this and he would be helping if we somehow just get the artifacts happening. |
From mosabua on October 21, 2010 21:24:48 Otherwise.. can you make sure that for 3.0 a no-aop artifact makes it to maven central. Then we can start using that as soon as it hits central. Also when is 3.0 coming out? Any roadmap? |
From mosabua on January 21, 2011 14:55:34 Guice 3.0 RC 2 has the no_aop artifact in Maven central so we are good going forward. |
From mosabua on January 22, 2011 20:42:17 The artifacts have now been uploaded after a combined effort of Michael Burton, Jason van Zyl, Brian Fox and myself and after a review and approval from Sam Berlin. Get them here: http://repo2.maven.org/maven2/com/google/inject/guice/2.0-no_aop/ This issue can now be closed. |

It's fantastic that we can no build guice applications via maven. However, it would really help to be
able to access the no_aop version of guice from maven as well, for those applications that require
no_aop (eg. android apps).
