(Google calender widget not working) commented on by rpgoldman
- Looking at this a little farther, it looks like there might be a parsing error. In
my console, I see a lot of blocks like this:
12/15/09 7:51:23 PM [0x0-0xa00a].com.apple.dock[333] 2009-12-15 19:51:23.453
DashboardClient[52871:10b] (com.manastungare.widget.google.calendar)
file:///Users/rpg/Library/Widgets/Google%20Calendar.wdgt/google.calendar.js:
TypeError: Result of expression 'events[i]' [undefined] is not an object. (line: 248)
If I get a chance, sometime, I'll have a look at this in Safari and see why it's
going wrong. But if someone else gets a chance, that would be great.

- I am having what sounds like the same issue --- I put the private address for my
calendar in the widget, and nothing is happening. The "updating" spin icon goes, but
it never stops.
I tried a public calendar, and that seemed to work.
So perhaps this only works on shared calendars?

- I have experienced this exact problem (Firefox 3.0.10). The Refresh function seems
like a dead script.

- I've also downloaded the widget onto my mac, and entered the codes, but nothing shows
up. All of my calendars are public and I've tried entering both the "calendar
address" and the "private address."
please help.

- Did you make your calendar public? Maybe this is the issue....
quote from Google Calendar:
"This is the address for your calendar. No one can use this link unless you have made
your calendar public"

(Unable to resize Widget) reported by McManigle
- It would be nice if we could resize the widget, and even nicer if it would
remember its size between launches.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? (See
LocateVersionNumber for how to find this.)
Using version 3.1 on Mac OS 10.5.6 on an Intel Mac.

(24h time display) reported by francois.charlet
- Displaying time in 24h format would be great (I mean, if the user could choose between these time
formats, this would be very useful and more handy). :-)
