I do think that A symbian authenticator would be quite useful as at present most of the nokia smart phones are symbian based. And a lot of google account users have the phone. Its useful especially when trying to sign in on a computer at a place that doesnt have network coverage.

This is a quick-and-dirty version and not a production quality application. Released as in works-for-me. Tested with Qt 4.7.2 on E7-00 (Symbian^3). The project can be compiled with NokiaQtSDK 1.1 Beta.

A J2ME client would work on Symbian, Blackberry (and Windows Mobile with additional software installed) and most feature phones... It should be able to share quite a bit of code with the Android version as well.

At first authenticator didn't work, but I noticed that my network time was 4 minutes off. FreeTimeBox synced my time to be correct using NTP.

Works like a charm on my Nokia E71 (S60 3rd edition)
