That's HUGE created (?!) issue! Editing/changing/modifying entries is so basic that it becomes hard to believe that Google created this gap. I'm having the same issue above. And it would be great if there was some sort of navigation buttons with an edit button associated to it so we could navigate through the rows and edit them... That can't be so hard.

We are facing the same issue, and would appreciate a solution to this problem.

Same issue here, we just started implementing Google Forms and our first submission had this issue. User is asking to edit form but they closed the page already.

Very good'm trying to do something similar to what is said here, but I'm pretty new and I can not.
I pass the form you have created (for sports prediction)http://goo.gl/forms/UYqSYXcuXp now have a script that is:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1f19JtA_aRqmER2zikuAaCxn0t_V-EQyMT9po8umkhbY/edit?usp=sharing
With this script I get it is that every time the prediction may receive in my mail without having to open the document is made.
What I need now is this (would be two things really), one form will not let introduciera who covers what an event subsequent to the current time.
And secondly and more importantly, that the user need that has covered the form will send an email when you entered on the form as time correction, time or event but more "x" hours.
Hence the corrected prediction indicating the result of the meeting, if it could be, that would not need to touch the previous answers,
No whether to use the same form to continue to respond, or whether it is better to be a different form and that bind in the spreadsheet.
Thank you very much in advance.
A greeting.

how to edit "send email reminders" in google form

How is this STILL not implemented???

As I found, for now in the new Google Form: If you (1) let users get a copy of the response, and (2) allow edit response after submit, the users will get an "Edit Response" button in the copy they receive.
To do that, you have to
(1) Check "Collect email addresses" and "Response Receipts", and choose either "if requested" or "always".
(2) If you chose "if requested" the user would need to choose "send me a copy of my response" to get that.
(3) The user will then need to enter their email address as a mandatory field. There may be a way to auto fill, though.
I believe the challenge for this feature is that without collecting the email address you cannot send an email to include that Edit Response link - it has been possible to edit the response right after submission because the user session is still active, but after closing the window things change.
If the Form owner is already collecting email addresses then this solution is perfect with little hassle added.

Description
Allow Apps Developers to generate an "Edit Response" link on "Form Submit" event.
Details:
If the Form has "Allow user to edit response" is checked, upon form submission, users will be presented with a link to edit their response on the page.
However, once they are gone from that page, they can no longer go back and edit their response - All they can do is to create a new entry.
Right now, it is pretty common that, if the Form requires an email field, we'll send users a confirmation email. If we could include the "Edit Response" link as a part of that email, that will enable users to edit their response at a later time.
Currently, the workaround proposed by other developers is that you can use the "Pre-Filled Form" to basically pre-fill all fields when user clicks on a link, say, from the confirmation email. This works, but it requires extra work in case of duplicate entries. In addition, since the "Edit Response" feature is already built, why can't we expose that link as a part of the "on Form Submit" event handler! :)
