Thanks!

issue 10 (colored scanner square won't show up!) reported by banditcloud   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open WoW, high video settings etc., set up fishing character 2. Run gonefishing and hit start fishing What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Expected the little bobber colored square to appear upon scanning, but for some reason it doesn't. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? OS X 10.6.1 , GoneFishing Version 1.1.6 (with tweaked sensitivity source code added via xcode) Please provide any additional information below. It used to appear the first few times I tried gonefishing, but then I had the issue of it not actually clicking the bobber no matter how much I played around with the settings. So recently I compiled the tweak sensitivity source code and ran it in xcode, not sure it that has anything to do with it ~ because I got this problem before and after it. Also, the gonefishing icon in my dock doesn't change to the square's view anymore, it just remains its original fish icon... probably since there is no square coming up in the first place, kind of a 'duh' statement, but thought I'd mention it.

issue 7 (Wont find bobber) commented on by patsup   -   I have this same issue, ever since getting a new computer - I'm running snow leopard 10.6.1 I don't remember which GoneFishing version I used to use when it worked, but now I am using 1.1.6 GoneFishing used to work very well for me using Tiger 10.4.... but I haven't tried it in several months (last year some time) so I don't know if it's a patch change, a change in gonefishing, or a change with my OS. In the past, GF was very easily able to "find" the bobber by placing the "scan-color"ed-box around the bobber (when I used the color selection tool, it was easy)... Now, I use the color selection tool on various distinct parts of the bobber, and it will never "find" it. It never draws a box anywhere around anything, and keeps "flashing" the UI (option-z) trying to find it, just as Lt.Shinta reported. I tried different settings, such as "Keep WoW interface visible while fishing" or "Allow fishing with WoW in the background" and neither have any effect.... it seems the bobber just won't be found no matter what color I pick with the selection-tool.

issue 3 (Gone Fishing is not sensing the hit on the bobber when a fis...) commented on by juston410   -   I figured out a way to make it click all the time. Set your square setting to 20 and max video settings. And you have to find a place where your bobber is really bright. I did this and its working fine now...Sucks though cant fish where my red feather isnt very bright cause it wont sense it. =( Oh well at least i found one way until they update this. Hopefully soon. Hope this helps a bit. Oh and if anyone can explain how to set up the code thing very detailed i would really appreciate it a bunch. Email is Juston410@aol.com. Thanks =)

issue 3 (Gone Fishing is not sensing the hit on the bobber when a fis...) commented on by 19vette67   -   Did you follow the link to the xcode on apples site, just open the "Package" which is the gone fishing project folder, then hit the "Run" button at the top of the box, tada, that is it. You can't save the working file, so every time you want to run it, you have to start xcode and compile it. It still works great, even on 3.2.0

The original won't recognize bites, and the one I got from napalm (thanks for sending it so quickly) won't wait for bites, even on the lowest sensitivity setting. I finally got the original to work in Mulgore, but anywhere else I go it won't respond to bites after it locates the bobber.

issue 3 (Gone Fishing is not sensing the hit on the bobber when a fis...) commented on by 19vette67   -   Unfortunately what you have to do is download the source code and compile it with Xcode, and what it gives you is not savable and not emailable and goes away when you close Xcode. I don't know how to save it or i would save it for myself. Only the author can make it savable. 30 minutes on Google would be your friend and the program works great.

issue 8 (Sensitivity Needs Tweaking?) commented on by gull_i_...@hotmail.com   -   Okey... You guys are probably tired of "noobs" asking you how you compile gone fishing. That is what you're doing, right? I've downloaded "http://gone-fishing.googlecode.com/svn/trunk" with SVN, but please... Can someone tell me how to use Xcode? I don't know if I should open a new project, try to open GoneFishing in Xcode or most certain not where I should implement the new code. If one of you could just try to very thurrowly explain how you do it, or just film it I think that would be very much appreciated by the majority of the people who have bothered to search for such a forum, or simply make an update? Please, really want to get my GoneFishing-bot back to the shape it was.

issue 9 (Will not recognize when the bobber splashes) reported by dougbizn...@yahoo.com   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. cast line 2. wait for a fish to hit 3. then it just misses the fish and casts again. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? It catches it. It misses it and casts again. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 1.1.6 Please provide any additional information below. I also can't get it to run in full screen properly (i don't know if its supposed to). I have it set to max sensitivity and all detail on max.

Behavior is that it locates bobber just fine but after a hit, the app does not perform a right click. Could this be a Mac issue or has WOW changed something behind the scene. One a side not I have notice a decrease in the fish on the AH so one wonders if its not just this app that is having issues

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Program finds bobber, but on lowest sensitivity won't ever 'click' on catch, and at next sensitivity level will always click before a fish is hooke. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Using the sensitivity numbers provided in r3 of the source code here.

I have done this over 10 times on each getting different shades of the same color. I doubt once more will do anything. Its not that it is putting the box around something else its that it cant find it at all.

So, send me an email and I will send you my update app. Please note below and if anyone has issues or ideas for another update also email me. Tips are welcomed lol Keynotes for update 1.1.6.1: In update the sensitivity is changed but not fine tuned so default is preferred.

issue 3 (Gone Fishing is not sensing the hit on the bobber when a fis...) commented on by skielboe   -   Why not just do a checkout of the repository with your favorite svn client? Its really easy to compile using xcode, free from Apple's webpage: http://developer.apple.com/technology/xcode.html . If you can open a .txt file you can compile this source code as well..

issue 3 (Gone Fishing is not sensing the hit on the bobber when a fis...) commented on by aarghj   -   Is there a method to get the source in a single zip file or tarball that I am missing? If not, would someone please link either the recompiled binary with the fix or the entire source in a zip/tarball?

issue 2 (Gone-Fishing Stopped working after the new patch) commented on by jose.m.dasilva   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. I get error message "UI Hidden. Press ctrl-z to show it again." When fishing with gonefishing. 2. Gonefishing will click on the bobber a bit randonly it seems. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? What version of the product are you using? On what operating system 1.1.6 on Mac OS X 10.5.6 on Intel Core 2 Duo Please provide any additional information below.
