What steps will reproduce the problem? not a problem -- this is an enhancement bug What version of GMM are you using? On what operating system? (See the about panel) 0.10.7 for now! Please provide any additional information (if any) below. I'd like to be able to import playlists produced with other software. Right now gmm exports but can't import, which makes it harder to share music btwn users and applications. Also, I would *love* to be able to import playlists and have gmm scan the playlist, check for duplicate tracks, import the missing tracks into the library, and rewrite the playlist to refer to the old versions of any duplicate tracks. This would work best with xsmp playlists that store metadata in a useful format, though I guess one could scan the media files directly and gram metadata from them. Anyway it's just a thought, cf. this blog post: http://consumption.derailleur.org/?p=50 |

Definitely. I have been wanting this as well. Just having come around it yet to implement it. As a start, the m3u should be the easiest to implement.
