Impressed! My brother eats and breathes on paint, so he may finally enjoy Linux. (All other editors have crappy freeform selection tools, he claims.)

Hola, tu idea e muito bem! en ingles: Please continue with your work which looks promising but lacks "some" decent functions. Ubuntu is going to "wipe-out" more or less the GIMP of the standard install cd's for the average user in the next official verson (LTS) of Ubuntu (Lucid Lynx). This had been discussed for a long time and looks imho concise. But now GNOME hasn't got much of (simple image editing) or even a (better than M$) Paint-program. Yes there are still GNU-Paint (Gpaint) and nahtive ... but your approach is for me, the most presentable at present, so please contact some ubuntu guys and help the community a lot! Sorry for writing this in english, but my brazillian portoguese isn't that conversational safe. Greets from Germany, and KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, ;-D

another tiny post: Well I've changed my oppinion concerning nathive. Es looks remarkable, but it is far from being usable for the average user.

Good work! Keep going! Gnome has been lacking such an app for a long time!

Excellent tool! Just needs a few missing features - so some menus at the top won't be empty =P - but it's indeed an AWESOME application =D Thanks a lot!!

You can't imagine how I longed for a simple program like yours. GIMP and Inkscape are resource hogs for what I need. Thanks for this little jewel!

@apoteoticos Thank you. Are you using the newest version (0.4.0) at https://launchpad.net/gnome-paint?
