SSulvkors created some really beautiful lock dialogs based on arc-colors.

Can you please add them to the official PPA ?

The PPA is actually not maintained by me, but by packagers from the Ubuntu
community.
I don't really have much say over the packages they choose, I just try to help
make
their packaging easier from the source files on my end.

However, I'll try discussing it, or perhaps adding lock dialogs to the GDM
packages
in the future.

I'm marking this ticket as invalid, since it doesn't relate to the hosted
projects.
However, I'll post back here if I have any update on this issue.

[My response to a private message Gourgi on the Ubuntu Forums.]

Hi,

I've seen these and agree that they are quite nice and complete the look, but
there
are some issues with packaging them from a distribution perspective.

Changing the lock dialog isn't exposed anywhere in the normal GUI. Making a
package
for them could lead to confusion. Someone would install the package and then
not know
how to use the themes.

Also, unless they are added to the upstream Arc-Colors source package they
would have
to be a separate package. Right now we are focused on getting the main pieces
included in Debian and Ubuntu, we might consider these in the future, but I'm
inclined to believe that any one who knows how to change the lock dialog in
gconf
won't have a problem downloading and installing them manually.

Maybe we could provide them in the PPA only...

- Andrew

I honestly didn't thought of the 'gconf-editor' part,
I agree with you on this Andrew.
