With Gmooby you can make video 2d game. It will support Windows and Linux, but now it is only for windows.

Gmooby core lib is written in ansi C. And there are 2 indepandence libs: CORE lib and UTILITY lib. Core lib provides the base APIs, include Window Framework, Input Detection, Basic Render, Sound... We could use OpenGL for rendering. Utility lib provides some more higher functions, like Sprite, Animate, Collision Detection... but i'm not quite sure that using C++ or C.

ps. Why named GMOOBY? GMOOBY = GRUBBY + MOON, the name of two WarCraftIII players.
