Geograffr is an opensocial app that puts you and your friends on a map.

Getting Geograffr
Simply add the url of Geograffr to your profile on Orkut, Myspace, hi5, Ning, Plaxo or any other opensocial container:

As your friends add this app as well, they will appear on the map.
Features
- Adds your friends' pictures on a map
- Drag and drop your marker to change your current location
- Displays the "social graph", i.e. which of the people displayed in the map are friends of each other.
Ideas for future development:
- Enter a new location by typing it in a text box
- See yours and your friends' past and future locations
Container Requirements
It currently requires opensocial v0.6, and has been tested so far on Orkut.
License
Geofraffr is open source, licensed with the MIT License. It uses the opensocial and the Google Maps APIs. It uses the persistence features of open social to store data about its users (currently just their location) without requiring any user sign-up with third-party services.
