Gears 0.3 (Q2 2008)

Highlights:

  • Progress events for the managed resource store (tracking bug)
  • Add getPermission() method and hasPermission property to the Factory object to enable finer grained control for applications requesting access to Gears.

This is why google gears is are definitly losing in the RIA space. Basically I don't think they've had a release in over a year now.
