Note: at v1.2 this does not include PDF

Comment by danrhodes, Nov 04, 2008

is there any chance that support will be extended to PDF files in the near future?

Comment by jacob.brunson, Dec 17, 2008

Even though PDFs can be uploaded to Google Docs through their web site, uploading of PDFs is not yet supported through the API. The issue has been submitted and Google has assigned a "high" priority to the issue.

I am considering moving our paperless heavily PDF document intensive office to Google Docs. Do we have an estimated time for Google to Implement mass uploading of PDF documents? And is Google going to increase the PDF file size limit for files? Also, will there be a way to upload folders with their contents to Google Docs? Thank you.

Sarebbe perfetto se si potessero importare file .zip e cartelle intere.

Without .pdf support this is no use to me what so ever....

Comment by smathieson, Mar 05, 2009

And since I am sure that the developer wrote this just to satisfy your personal needs kantoor I am sure he/she consideres this project an absolute failure...

You could create a PDF-to-JPG converter built into the gdocs uploader that tags the pages semantically. Perhaps create folders for different PDFs. Not the best solution, but viable.

Again, PDF support is dependent on Google providing support through their API. Over a year ago, I submitted as issue to have PDF support added. If you support this issue, please star the issue. Please do not add a comment as that will send a spamy email to everyone who has starred the issue. You can star the issue here.

I'm really enjoing using your system to move my entire company documents to GDocs, but I also think that would be great to have the possibility to batch upload entire folders :)

thanks for your time and great work!

PDF support is coming very soon.

Are there plans to support wpd files?

Comment by jacob.brunson, Sep 02, 2009

@oagwood - There are no plans at this time to support WPD files, mainly because Google Docs won't accept them.
