Hello. I have noticed the newest versions of the Google API's only have a Java client library (and occasionally .NET) listed. Are there plans to update the Python client library to work with the latest API's, or should I begin moving my work to Java?
I'm interested in GDoc's "upload files of any type" feature that's part of the 3.0 API. Should I expect to wait for a while for that to roll into this project?
Am I better off directly using the HTTP REST interface?
Kind of quiet here (last post from the project members, Sept 09, last edit of Wikis, mid 2010). This question still valid and unanswered: "the newest versions of the Google API's only have a Java client library (and occasionally .NET) listed. Are there plans to update the Python client library to work with the latest API's?" Thanks.
I checked out the current development source code branch that contains multiple domain support API, Email Delegation API, new Documents List API client, etc.
Any idea when the new library will be released? Is it stable enough to be used in test environments?
It is seriously mysteriously quite. Sounds to me like google has put significantly less (or none) resources on python API client code. Not good sign :-/ Can someone tell us contrary or give us an update?
Lots of changes here too: http://code.google.com/p/gdata-python-client/source/list This is so confusing. Google employees: Could you clarify what is going on between these two locations. Why no updates on wiki docs here? And it doesnt seem much like a wiki if its closed off to just you guys. Maybe you could moderate new content from community members? Thanks!
Reader has an API...
Where is Reader?
this library is hot.
Hi guys, any chance of adding Google Books support?
Hi Luke, support for the Google Book Search API has been released.
Hello, does gdata 2.0.2 supports python 3.0 or 3.1.1?? Thank you
No highest supported version of Python is 2.6. Support for 3.0 is tracked in this issue: http://code.google.com/p/gdata-python-client/issues/detail?id=229

Does anyone know when and if support for google buzz will be added?
Project Manager should really add a note to the "Getting Started" guide that this library will not run on Python 3.1.
Starting a new Health API project... when will python library support 2.0? Thanks.
When/if is gmail support planned...?
Is there a time frame for Contacts 3.0 support? I'd rather not use Java, but ...

Wow it's pretty cool. Just saw gdata-2.0.15 released 6 hours ago with the above features!
