Comment 5 by ellen.mah, Oct 01, 2007
I also would love to see this capability added to the API.
Comment 6 by MCP.Philly, Oct 01, 2007
This feature would definately allow me to utilize youtube much easier in all of my
web application.
Comment 7 by l...@galaxybeing.com, Oct 03, 2007
yes
Comment 8 by ryparken, Oct 12, 2007
This would allow to create more seamless process of updating videos on a daily basis.
Comment 9 by varun.mehta.r, Oct 16, 2007
This way we can update our more "neatly", rather than making users post the video to
our server and then manually moving them to youtube.
Comment 10 by lowfill, Oct 16, 2007
This would be a wonderful feature that everyone will love
Comment 11 by b...@webshak.co.uk, Oct 23, 2007
Yes this would be great and as comment 3 above perhaps other attributes could be
added by our application to desribe video details more. Example if it's a product
demo video rather than a location.
Comment 12 by avinpr, Oct 31, 2007
A badly needed feature. Doesn't help just being able to read all the data in
applications that want to manage all the data.
Comment 13 by pollo.es...@gmail.com, Nov 01, 2007
I think that this feature is really needed for a lot of aplications, please implement
it :D.
Comment 14 by rocoso, Nov 02, 2007
YEAH we wanna upload from our applications:)
Comment 15 by dscrib...@bpositiv.com, Nov 05, 2007
Is anyone from Google/YouTube following this thread? If so, can you give us an idea
whether this is being considered and if so, when we will see it? Thank you.

Hi guys,

Issues that have been "Prioritized" are on the roadmap. I can't give a timeline, but

I know that shozu can help one phone user to upload videos to youtube, I wonder how
shozu does it. Anyone knows?
Comment 25 by arthur.dong, Dec 24, 2007
There is one tool called VideoPut, it can upload videos to YouTube. I can't believe
that VideoPut doesn't use YouTube "upload" API to do so, as well Shozu. Anyone can
give some suggestion?

The status is listed as "Prioritized". And see comment #16 here. And if you go to the
forums you'll see many discussions where they confirm they're working on it.
