• do we need to have stable usage identifiers and if so, what mean stable?
• is the name guaranteed to be exactly the same? what are the stable properties?
• can the included children or synonyms vary?

• how to lexically group -> does taxon match work?
• how to find the current best name within a lexical group?
• how do nomen groups based on explicit basionyms and original names / authorships?
• is it ok to only use objective synonyms, i.e. nomenclatural ones?
• what to do with higher classification? managed? merged from few trusted sources?
• is it possible to have a few alternatives for the higher classification that can be switched? E.g Cronquist System, Phylogenetic System of Judd et al., Angiosperm Phylogeny Group (APGII): http://www.botany.hawaii.edu/faculty/carr/pfamilies.htm

• how to deal with infraspecific classifications? Is it ok to just have one level below species?
• how to deal with informal names, aggregates, Xxx spec, etc
