As the point of interest of a user is (mostly) in the middle of the screen: new 
tasks should be also appear in the middle of the screen.

So newly added tasks need to be placed at the 'center date' of the visible 
chart.

Hm :) It is the 4th version of where a new task should appear. See issue#214

hm... have to admit I did not see the other versions... But it seems that there 
are more people thinking that this behaviour should be different?

In issue 124 you stated that the user should always see the new task. I think 
centered is a better place too see, as users tend to work on the center on 
their screens. (see issue 119 on zooming, although that was me who wrote it...)
