Bird Strike

You have to try to take down as many planes as you can. A flock of birds follow your mouse, and planes try to avoid you.. Try to force them into a mountain. watch out for their jets or helicopters!

Details

Objective kill all the towns by making planes crash on them.

Flock mechanics Flock follows mouse. Un flocked birds join flock when it is close enough. Birds leave flock and attack hunters when close enough.

Bird Spawning Birds spawn at rookery based on time. Spawned birds either sit or fly close to the rookery Spawn faster if there are more birds at the rookery. If there are too many birds at the rookery, 30% leave as a un controlled flock that can be picked up.

Planes Planes spawn on the far right of the level. They spawn on a variable timer per plane. The timer should change based on how many towns are destroyed. Planes have HP tied a number of birds. They aren't scared of the birds unless they see the number = to their HP. Planes have different agilities. Planes do different amounts of damage to towns.

Towns Towns have HP that can be damaged by planes. The HP levels are tied to different art stages (how many buildings are destroyed)

Hunters Hunters are spawned any time a plane is destroyed or a town takes damage. Hunters can be killed by planes or birds hunters shoot birds in range If hunters get very mad they will move towards the rookery and shoot spawning birds.

HUD only 2 hud elements are needed 1. Birds in flock 2. Birds in nest they should colour code or update to show when birds are added or removed, that way its obvious when the hunters are slaughtering the nest.

OH! 1 more hud: Score. Should update whenever a plane is destroyed, or a hunter, or a town.

Game over screens No loss! Goes forever Win screen shows time and score.
