EventTrackingRequest
How To Get Event Tracking reporting enabled in your account
Event Tracking OverviewEvent tracking is an evolutionary way to send data to Google Analytics as to not inflate pageview counts. It provides a user defined 3-dimensional data collection system which can be used to track: User interaction, Server latency, Custom Data, and more. For more information visit: http://code.google.com/apis/analytics/docs/eventTrackerOverview.html
Enabling The FeatureCurrently the Event Tracking feature is a closed beta; however, exclusive for Flash developers, you can request activation through the form below. We will enable up to 500 requests. To expedite the activation, only submit profiles that require the feature. After you submit the form, it will take up to a week to see the new reports in your account under the Content -> Event section. For each new profile, please submit another request as new profiles will not have Event Tracking enabled by default. Please note that you can start sending event data to GA now, and you will be able to see the historical data once the the UI has been enabled. You can verify that your events are being properly sent by following the Troubleshooting and Validation doc here: http://code.google.com/apis/analytics/docs/gaTrackingTroubleshooting.html

Thanks for this! BTW, the link "for more information visit: " at the top of the page is broken ( http://code.google.com/apis/analytics/docs/eventTrackerOverview.html )
@paulpencola your link is also broken
I have requested access for my account (btg.biztech) to enable event tracking for more than 4 weeks but it still is not activated. Let me know how long it will take to activate it.
Ouch, 4 weeks?! Anyone know of any alternatives while we wait?
is the flash event tracking still in beta?
