This is a list of frequently asked questions about how to use the custom fields. Before submitting bug reports or posting support threads check this list as your issue may have an answer here already.

General Configuration

  1. Why are some of my custom fields not shown when viewing items? The most probable answer is that more than one of your custom fields has been configured with the same 'Order' number.

Vehicle Specific

  1. Where are the year, make, and model fields? Because Fusion Registry is designed to be as customizable as possible there are no hard coded fields, or default custom fields created. You need to create the year, make, and model custom fields.
  2. My year/make/model custom fields aren't working! For these custom fields to work correctly set the type to 'Special built-in field' and in the 'Options' field enter 'year', 'make', or 'model'. You can enter anything for the 'Name'.
  3. I created my 'make' custom field, why isn't it working? For the special custom field 'make' to work you need to create the special custom field 'model' also. The are both required for either to work.
