issue 74 (Tool Tip change in HorizontalTimePanel event) reported by kodanhunt   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Create a event in HorizontalTimePanel. 2. Move the mouse over the event in HorizontalTimePanel. 3. Tool Tip will show the event timings. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Instead of only starting and ending time in the Tool Tip, I wants to show the Date + Time as the Tool Tip. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? GWT-Ext, JBoss Portal, Windows Vista. Please provide any additional information below. Since the tool tip for the horizontal time panel shows only the timings, it will be complicated to the user to understand if they create a meeting after 10PM to 12 AM in the morning. As of now it shows the tool tip as "22.00-00.00". Now i would like to override that tool tip by adding the date in from of the start time and end time in the same. Can you please help me to achieve this?? Thanks & Regards, Kothandaraman N.

issue 70 (When Time is Not in 24Hour Mode Times Returned Are Wrong) reported by chod...@protalentsoftware.com   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Create a class that extends BaseDateRenderer 2. Set the show24HourClock method to return false 3. Check the dates passed in the createNewAfterClick methods when the user selects any time of the day AFTER 12pm. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The expected output is that when the user click on any time of the day after 12pm the time should always be PM but instead the time returned is always AM. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? I am using the latest code as of 8/20/2009 and the OS is Windows and Mac. Please provide any additional information below. I have pinpointed exactly where the problem is and created a fix. There may be a more elegant way of handling it but it works. See attached file and look at the onMouseUp method of the DayPanel.class.

issue 68 (Week view very slow, causes the browser to hang) reported by tony.wro...@me.com   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Add a weeks worth of events, e.g. Monday To Friday 9-5, every hour, or around 50 events 2. Navigate out, and back in. 3. When it attempts to reload the week view, it takes a very long time, and sometimes hangs the browser. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The week view becomes very slow once a few events have been added. It should be loading very quickly, like the day and month views. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? SVN - r257 - Mac OS X 10.5, GWT 1.7 Please provide any additional information below. It appears that when redrawing the week view, it is adding one item at a time, redrawing, resizing etc. This causes the browser to hang when there are a lot of events.

issue 57 (UniversalDateRenderer setStartTime() and setEndTime() is not...) commented on by mnouwens   -   I know that applications store these events. We use it in real live aplications. But how does the back end do validation. If it fails how do you revert the change. At the moment we do a redraw of the view so the event is put back where is was. Do i read it corerectly that you do a round trip to the server on every setStartTime and setEndTime?

issue 57 (UniversalDateRenderer setStartTime() and setEndTime() is not...) commented on by dominik.zalewski   -   Keep in mind that applications using this calendar view actually store these events persistently. If I try to change entries in the database that describe the event being dragged, I run into problems described earlier. So to answer your question it's the database layer that does the validation and this validation fails.
