Comment by kaatje1975, Oct 30, 2007

I keep getting the message that "Red Swoosh" is missing and will be re-installed after I click on "OK". Then a message appears that re-installing has succeeded. But it hasn't because these messages keep appearing. I've tried removing the add-on and installing it again, but no luck!

Comment by fl_dolp...@hotmail.com, Nov 10, 2007

Hey, this works great I have had up to six d/l's going at the same time. If I can change the port # I for my protection, I can uninstall Azureus and UTorrent. Thanks Guys,

NB Let me know if there is an INF file to change prefences.

Comment by asantbdj, Dec 03, 2007

hello, i use proxy server an foxtorrent work whit proxy?

Comment by andmax, Dec 04, 2007

Hi, currently it is red swoosh useless... so I get AllPeers? Beta add-on and it works well...

Comment by catchhellblues6, Dec 06, 2007

How to limitate the down- an upload-rate?!

Comment by taosk8r, Dec 17, 2007

Seriously guys, this extension was WAY more useful before you had to go and make it dependant on that RedSwoosh? crap. Even the old versions won't work anymore. I couldn't install redswoosh on the computers I use EVEN if I wanted to.. :( Please consider putting out a version that doesn't need that crap!

Comment by barolinecailey, Dec 26, 2007

does not work on ASUS Eeepc. Lost connection to Redswoosh server message.

Comment by kwgmatthies, Dec 30, 2007

Useless, and no information available to help make it work...just install, choose a file, and it downloads, says the "How to Use foxtorrent". But, what about the 99% of us who use a firewall and connect through routers? Please provide some minimal specs on what how the software works and what ports are expected to be available on both ends and leave the "just install it and it works" nonsense for Apple computer.

Comment by Xeracy, Jan 03, 2008

"does not work on ASUS Eeepc."

confirmed... any1 got a bt program that does?

Comment by hogofwar25, Jan 09, 2008

yeah the auto configure is fine but it is useless because i cannot configure

Comment by alex.hello71, Jan 20, 2008

most useless thing i ever downloaded

Comment by Douglas.Reay, Feb 06, 2008

I run FoxTorrent? 1.15 on FireFox? 2.0.0.11 under 64 bit Vista

The RedSwoosh?.exe process does crash when you try to start 2 or 3 new torrents downloading in a row.

The workaround for this is to close all firefox windows then start it again. This restarts the RedSwoosh?.exe process.

Comment by anichiwawa, Feb 18, 2008

The interface is very simple. But downloads are near impossible. Having same problems as of all the above. Running FireFox? 2.0.0.12 on Windows XP SP2.

Comment by Snarkyone1965, Feb 20, 2008

With all the complaints I am reading about this POS will someone tell me why in God's name is it still showing up on the Firefox add-on page? I would think that after all of these comments on how terrible this garbage is that Mozilla and Firefox would want nothing to so with it, doesn't anybody test this crap before it gets thrown up for download, very disappointing considering that Firefox is a great browser. I am soooo glad that I read the comments before I hit the download button, now I know that I can't even trust good ol' Firefox/Mosilla anymore how sad.

Comment by robbyieyie, Feb 23, 2008

maybe something went wrong with installing foxtorrent, either way,I've got problems with it. now I want to uninstall foxtorrent to install it again. but i've got no idea how to uninstall it, can anyone tell me how

I already loaded some torrent files on my pc. Is it possible to pick up these files with foxtorrent in order to start a download or is it necesserary to return to the original torrent webside ?

Comment by smacca1, Aug 10, 2008

Using an Linux-based EEE PC, added Foxtorrent add-on, but it does not work. Frustrating waste of time...

Anyone know how I can configure another program to automatically start when I download a torrent file and clck 'open" in Firefox downloads?

Comment by fedinand.vroom, Nov 21, 2008

I tried adding qtorrent on my EEE PC 1000 using apt-get. It reports: "Couldn't find package qtorrent". Do I need to use another update site?
