issue 37 (Needs "Show Toolbox" Menu Item) commented on by eitanm   -   I had the same problem. I would suggest allowing the tools in the toolbox to live in the toolbar over the document. There is so much empty space there, it might as well be used. (Or I would move the toolbar options to the toolbox and eliminate the toolbox)

issue 90 (image placed with "Place Image" should be move able and resi...) reported by dhbentz   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Edit a PDF 2. try to place a large image on a line in the PDF 3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? It should allow you to reposition and resize the image after placing it, or you should be able to define a box inside which the image would be scaled to fit. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 0.0.6 on Mac OS 10.5.8 Please provide any additional information below. I'm trying to add an image to a PDF without lowering the pdf quality by exporting the whole thing as an image.

issue 89 (Ability to set a default font) reported by i...@creative19.com   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Being able to set a font choice in preferences as a default 2. 3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? At the moment the default font when you create a text box is Helvetica 12pt. This is fine, if you want to use Helvetica, if not, then you need to select a font choice for every text box you create as you create them. A bit tiresome. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Version 0.0.4 Please provide any additional information below.

In Formulate Pro, click the File menu and have a look at the "Place Image..." command. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? 1.) As it is now, the Place Image command does not have a keyboard shortcut associated with it. I would suggest Mac-I. 2.) Paintbrush's user interface allows the user to make the following selections in a very easy way: * do i want to have a line drawn? * do i want to have the shape filled? * what colors do i want to use for line and background?

issue 44 (Text item not visible when creating another) changed by adlr   -   I debugged this a lot today. The bad news is, I haven't fixed the problem yet. But the good news is: I have finally found a 100% reliable repro case, so I can effectively test a fix. Also, I've verified that, at least in the case that I found, the bug does not appear on Snow Leopard. Also, the bug doesn't seem to happen at 100% zoom level (the default). So, I'm going to try to get a fix out soon, but in the mean time you can use one of two work-arounds: - Upgrade to Snow Leopard - Stay at the default zoom level when opening a document -andrew For future reference, the repro case is: Open a doc, zoom out once, switch to text tool, click in point (29, 159) of the window, type "asdf", click in point (28, 143) of the window.

issue 87 (Fomulate Pro Bug report: PDF Graphics are not saved properly) reported by adlr   -   I am using Formulate Pro to assemble a set of pdf graphics all together on one page of a (previously empty) pdf document: * File > Open > empty.pdf - which contains only one empty page, my drawing canvas, so to say * File > Place image... > graphic.pdf - a website that I printed, I graphic I exported from a drawing program etc * Then I scale the imported graphic, I import some other graphics etc * File > Print... > Save as PDF > export1.pdf - the exported pdf will be perfectly fine as expected: In the exported file, I find that the pdf graphic has not been rasterized to a bitmap, but that text and fonts have been preserved. The problem I am having only occurs when I close and reopen Formulate Pro: * File > Save As... > doc.formulate * File > Quit, then I reopen the Formulte Pro application * File > Open recent > doc.formulate Now all the pdf graphics in my formulate document are ugly and have lost their crystal clearness because the pdf graphics are now being shown as a rasterized bitmaps. This does not only concern how the document is displayed in Formulate Pro, but also how it is exported to PDF: When I go * File > Print... > Save as PDF > export2.pdf - then the exported file looks just as ugly as in the Formulate Pro document. For me, this means that I cannot interrupt my work with Formulate Pro, because everytime I quit Formulate Pro, my document gets messed up. It would be great if you could fix this issue, please!!

issue 44 (Text item not visible when creating another) commented on by BaoNguyen89   -   Had the same problem as described above. Would create textbox to type, but once the next textbox was made, the previous' text would disappear. Thought it might be a font color issue, but turned out it wasn't. Fixed it by selecting the textbox using the marquee tool. It's a bit time consuming though and a bit impractical. Would love to see this get fixed! Unfortunately, this is an inconsistent problem. Out of the 3 pages I filled out (50ish textboxes), about 20 had this problem. The others worked fine.
