The Linux and Windows versions are now becoming two separate projects. The linux verison is going to be named Resh(Religiously Experienced Shell), and the windows version will remain here.

The force is a c like scripting language developed by Jason Stallings that is meant to be quick. Using the force you will be able to quickly write console applications to do repetitive tasks. In linux the force will be a bash scripting replacement. If you know c/c++ why learn a new language when you can use the one you already know.
