FlexLayers was developed initially in the GeoVISTA Center at Penn State University, for related projects and examples, see: www.geovista.psu.edu

This project is a partial port of the OpenLayers mapping API from its native Javascript to ActionScript 3. This client mapping application supports display of WMS, WMS-C, and WFS layers along with controls such as PanZoom, PanZoomBar, DragPan and LayerSwitcher. A demo is currently available using Adobe Flex.
