Introduction

The Flex Code Jam 08 was held at the Flex|360 Conference in San Jose. We worked with Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara County to create an application that allows visitors to type in a zip code, and shows food banks where the visitor can find a hot meal. When the visitor clicks on a map icon, details about the location are shown, and the visitor can print the address or get custom directions.

Details

The project was shown to the attendees of Flex|360 and Second Harvest on the morning of August 20th, approx 48 hours after the first line of code was written, and 36 hours after the first full meeting.
