Introduction

Flax Basic is a simple application that allows you to build searchable databases of files in common formats such as Microsoft Office, HTML and PDF. Flax Basic implements a subset of the features of the full Flax search solution platform and is intended as a demonstration of some of the capabilities of Flax.

Get Flax Basic

You can get a packaged version of Flax Basic for Microsoft Windows from the Downloads tab. Flax Basic will also work on Unix or Mac, but you will need to download and compile the source code.
