Flashamaphone strives to be the underlying framework for unique instruments created on the Flash Platform.

With tablets and phones running Flash, I thought it would be a neat idea for performers to invent their own instruments.

For centuries, we've been confined to specific user interfaces for live instruments. These user interfaces are usually geared for musicians who know what they're doing and how to play in key, know music theory, etc.

Why not make instruments easier to use? Why not only show notes and allow the user to play notes that are in key? Let's create a synthesizer that has a little music theory built in to allow people to create smarter and easier to use instruments.
