The source for this project is hosted on github.com due to Google Code's current lack of git support. For convenience, here are direct links to the github pages: five-server, five-android.

To checkout:

git clone git://github.com/jasta/five-server.git
git clone git://github.com/jasta/five-android.git

To build:

 cd five-server
 ant dist
 cd ..
 cd five-android
 android update project -s -p .
 ant debug
 cd ..

Start the server and install the Android client:

On Linux/OS X to start:

./five-server/dist/five-server

On Windows to start:

cd five-server
cd dist
five-server.bat

Install the Android client onto your phone or emulator:

adb install -r five-android/bin/five-android-debug.apk

Is there a way to start and run the server as a deamon?

I am developing an app that will stream from a certain website that hosts mp3 files, and I was interested in the StreamMediaPlayer? object in your project. I was having trouble getting the StreamMediaPlayerTest? to run, and was wondering if you could help me out. Working from git as of July 26th. Thanks.

There is not five-server.bat file in dist . However there is a jar file inside dist/main called five-server.jar.
