Flickr is one of my favorite and most visited sites; I have a pro account; and I upload photos regularly. However, there have always been certain things about the site that I find clunky.

In the past there have been several greasemonkey scripts that augment Flickr, but they typically only work in Firefox and the develop/update/deploy process with greasemonkey is inelegant.

Chrome is a fast, minimal browser, and with it's new extensions mechanism makes writing extensions clean and easy. It also offers richer APIs than greasemonkey scripts alone.

Fittr Flickr, is my (badly named) extension for Chrome, that aims to make Flickr even better.

Please note, this is a personal project that I have been doing in my spare time. It has nothing to do with my employer and is not officially supported by Flickr.
