FestOS is discontinuedDue to minimal interest, I've decided to discontinue FestOS. I'm no longer maintaining it or developing new features. It's GPL'd, so, you're welcome to download it, use it, modify it, and even redistribute it (as long as you also release that version under the GPL). If you choose to use it, I suggest you at least update the TinyMCE component as there are some published vulnerabilities in the version included in the FestOS download. FestOSIs your festival stuck in the dark ages? Still requiring applicants to submit slides? Managing mounds of paper applications? FestOS, the festival engine, enables online applications, online payments, web-based jurying, reporting, and much more! FestOS DIY is the GPLv3 open Source edition of FestOS. Most festivals operate using traditional paper-based application systems. You probably mail applications to artists, process those applications by hand, require applicants to send in slides, meet in a room for jurying, run to the bank to deposit checks, deal with bounced checks, and so forth. FestOS, the Festival Operating System, can help automate all that! FestOS is a powerful web-based application and is the modern and complete solution to managing your festival. FestOS features

NewsSept. 16, 2010 - Version 2.3c released. This version rolls up the two XSS patches to fix critical cross-site scripting and login hack attacks. To upgrade version 2.3b to 2.3c, apply the two patches in order. Please note, with the first patch, you must merge the contents of the "ADD 2 YOUR config.php FILE.txt" file with your config.php file. The rest, just upload over the old files. Version 2.4 is in development with no announced release date yet. |
