I would like to use the FDS/Smokeview feature of coloring isosurfaces using
the COLOR_QUANTITY parameter of the &ISOF keyword. FDS now only outputs
ONE set of labels (long label, short label and unit) to the .smv file
(below the TISOF keyword). I need FDS to output TWO sets of labelsw hen we
colorize isosurfaces. First: labels for the surface being generated and
second: labels for the quantity used to color the surface .
For example, in the plume5c.fds case under Verification/Visualization I use
the following &ISOF line:
&ISOF QUANTITY='TEMPERATURE',VALUE(1)=200.0, COLOR_QUANTITY='VELOCITY' /
I would like FDS to output the following entry in the .smv file:
TISOF 1
plume5c_05.iso
TEMPERATURE
temp
C
VELOCITY
vel
C
You can use the latest test smokeview on the download site to test your
changes. This smokeview is not complete (colorbar is not showing data
labels) but the isosurface menus do a better job of showing what is being
drawn.
