What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open firefox
2. type something in search field
3. enhance font size (ctrl + "+")

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
There shouldn't be multiple x-button images under each other

Fixed that in https://github.com/firebug/firebug/commit/9003bbe3d49ad73456f9901249403895683e14ac.

It wasn't vertically repeated, it was a sprites image. Because it seems that the defined height of 16 pixels the box containing the image is ignored, I split the image into three.

Found a property that influences the alignment of inner boxes: -moz-box-align.
So I fixed this in a better way in https://github.com/firebug/firebug/commit/372a693786ddbcf08df03c5d97f236eaab28d926.
