fbug - issue #6730

Color display setting doesn't affect color names in shorthands

Posted on Sep 2, 2013 by Helpful Wombat

This is a split of issue 6406 comment 7.

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open Firebug on http://www.mediaevent.de/javascript/DOM-Attribute.html 2. Switch to the HTML panel and there to the Style side panel 3. Ensure the display option "Colors As Hex" is checked inside the Style side panel options menu 3. Inspect the <td> containing "getAttribute(attributeName)"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? => The "border" property of the "td, th" rule inside the Style side panel displays "1px solid gainsboro" instead of "#DCDCDC".

Adjusted FBTest css/5507/issue5507 to also cover this issue in https://github.com/firebug/firebug/commit/1db917d17b.
