Reported by evgeniy.egorov@gmail.com, Dec 11, 2010
Firefox 3.6.13; Firebug 1.6.0; Windows Vista Business 32bit

I create sequential connection to server from java-script. Execution will stop through several cycles. It may be on cycle or more 50 cycles. Without firebug all good.

JavaScript:

function startPersistent()
{
    jQuery.ajax({
        type: 'POST',
        url: 'http://test.local/my-poll/',
        data: JSON.stringify({"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":"1","method":"get_persistent_connection","params":{"owner_id": users[jQuery('#user_id').val()], "message_id": last_msg_id}}),
        dataType: 'json',
        contentType: 'application/j-son;charset=UTF-8',
        beforeSend: function(x) {
            if (x && x.overrideMimeType)
                x.overrideMimeType("application/j-son;charset=UTF-8");
        },
        success:
            function(data, status, xhr)
            {
                arrayEach(
                    data.result.events,
                    function(i, obj)
                    {
                        if (obj.event == 'send_message')
                        {
                            last_msg_id = obj.message_id;
                            jQuery('#log').prepend(jQuery('<div>' + obj.message + '</div><br>'));
                        }
                    }
                )

                if (jQuery('#pers').attr('checked'))
                    startPersistent();
            },
        error:
            function()
            {
                jQuery('#pers').attr('checked', '');
            }
    });
}

function arrayEach(a, callback)
{
    var i = 0;
    while(i in a)
    {
        callback(i, a[i]);
        i++;
    }
}

Sorry for the long delay on this.
Is this still an issue when using FF 6.0.2 + FB 1.8.3?
If so, please create a test case file or provide a public URL and include step by step instructions what to do, so we can reproduce what you see.

Thanks for the fast reply. I will keep this open for now for the case somebody else can create a reproducible test case.
Though please note, if nobody comes up with a test case, we'll close this issue after some time.

Hello,

I work on Firefox 14.0.1, Firebug 1.10.0 and Ubuntu 12.04.

I have the same problem. In fact, for my work placement, I must be create a file uploader in JavaScript. For this, I cut my file and I send the file part, one by one, in AJAX. About the 50th request, my script st\
op and refuse to send request anymore. Without firebug all good.

I create a jquery plugin for your test. You must be upload a file bigger than 50Mb or you can send in parameter a size for each chunk of the file. My code is commented.

Thank you for your help !
