Get Started

1. Downloading

First, you need to download the application from this page

You should probably use the .zip file (i.e. something like fb-uploader-1.1.zip).

Note: Debian / Ubuntu users should download the .deb file (if available) and install as you would normally install a package

2. Installation

Download Java if you do not have it already.
Create a new folder somewhere on your computer and unzip the contents of the file you have downloaded to it.

3. Running

If you're running Windows, simply open the folder you unzipped the contents to, open the 'bin' folder, and then double-click on 'run.bat'
If you're using Linux, the procedure is the same except you need to run 'run.sh' (you may need to make this executable first)

4. Using

Browse to the folder which contains photos you want to upload
Tag them if necessary (right-click on the photo and select "Edit / Tag")
Drag them over to the "Photos to Upload" list
Click the "Upload to Facebook" button

Problems?

Create a new issue - you can do this by going to the 'issues' tab at the top of this page and selecting 'New Issue'.

Hi, unfortunately there isn't a .deb file for the latest version. You should be able to use the standard .zip file though.

Should work for Mac in theory, although I haven't tested it in practice. Unfortunately I don't have a Mac so I can't provide instructions for you :(

i clicked the download link, but each time i launch it it says that it doesn't seem to be a valid archive and that it might be corrupted...so i redownload it again...but still get the same result.

can somebody give me an alternate download link?

Hey thanks for this, mate. works fine for me on GNU/Linux (Ubuntu 9.10). Works a treat. Is there a way to sort the photo's so they upload in an order or we supposed to do this as we add them? =D

Hi, if you right click the photo panel you will get the option to sort by filename or date.
