The icons you will find on these pages are 99% the work of Mark James from famfamfam.com. The original packages is called Silk Icons v1.3.

I have tried to get in touch with Mark to ask if it was ok to put the icons here on Google Code, but I haven't heard anything from him. He writes on his site that he is busy and one should not expect a response from him.

Contrary to what this project says, then the license Mark James has decided to release his icons under is the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License. Unfortunately I can't choose that here on Google Code at the moment, but I will change it to the correct license once it's possible.

Mark has also stated on his site: The icons can also be used under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License (Hi Debian folks!) with the following requirements:

In other words, Mark James deserves the full credit for all his work with these icons. I have just choosen to use them and as well as create some new ones (mostly based on the originals).
