Although much less ambitious than AppFuse is for general purpose web applications, the intention here is similar. Simply put, this will be a fully functional example Facebook Application written in Java and utilizing the facebook-java-api client library also hosted here in the Google Code repository. Similar to the way AppFuse works, you will be able to use a build target to clone the project sources with it customized to work with your own Facebook application API key and a few other common elements customized for your instantiation of the example application.
